Zander founded Master Confectioner’s design and development department to create a portfolio of alternative brands from the ground up, creating seven distinct brand identities within the emerging alternative space. Each brand was approached as its own ecosystem — with unique positioning, visual language, and product strategy — while still functioning cohesively within MCP’s broader manufacturing capabilities.

His role extended well beyond surface-level branding. Zander led the creative direction across custom packaging systems, structural design, and specialized tablet press molds, working closely with production teams to ensure the visual intent translated seamlessly into physical products. The collaboration also pushed product innovation forward, including the development of the first gummies featuring edible glitter — blending visual differentiation with manufacturable precision.

From early concepting through final production, the work balanced creativity with technical execution, resulting in brands that felt both expressive and scalable. The partnership with MCP reflects Zander’s ability to operate at the intersection of design, product development, and manufacturing — shaping not just how products look, but how they’re made.
